Compelling evidence exists that other temple complexes in Cambodia (Banteay Chmar, Preah Khan of Kompong Svay, Beng Melea, Sambor Prei Kuk, Koh Ker) may have had similar systems. This study will use new geospatial technologies to map these sites in detail, and to chronologically refine the map of Angkor. Using these data, a comparative analysis of settlement structure will be undertaken to clarify the role of hydraulic systems in state development and the emergence of urbanism in Cambodia and Southeast Asia.<br/><br/></td></tr>'); ++rows;
