My Searches

Personalised searches can be set up and saved to be used to suit the individual Heurist user.

These searches are accessible on the search panel on the main interface and can only be viewed and edited by the creator (user) of the Saved Search.

After doing any search, you can save it as a saved search, which will show up as a hyperlink on your HEURIST home page for immediate repeat access (the search is repeated, so new resources will be included).

To create a personalised search:

Undertake a search
Select Save
Enter a name for the search
From the drop-list add the Saved Search as a Personalised Saved Search

My Searches are the searches that are associated with the profile of the Heurist users.

My Searches are comprised of searches:

designed as part of the Heurist generic user profile and created by default (e.g. Recent)
designed as part of the Heurist generic user profile and built up by the user by tagging or using a specific record type (e.g. My Favourites or My Blog)
created by the user by saving a search (e.g. Personalised Searches)
created by a Workgroup the user belongs to (e.g. Workgroup Searches)
