Note: for movies we strongly recommend uploading them as FLV files, which are far more compact than typical MOV and AVI files. Heurist will shortly (as of September 2009) include an FLV playback function. There are many free and low cost converters for movies, one we have used with some success is CoyoteSoft Free FLV converter.

  1. Select a Heurist record
  2. Click Edit (record opens in new window)
  3. Click Show all fields hyperlink
  4. Click browse button by Associated files field*
  5. Browse to locate file for upload
  6. Select the file
  7. Click open in dialogue box (upload message confirms file has been uploaded)



*Files uploaded to Heurist fields in a record may be: Geographic object; Additional images; Associated files
