What is a Heursit blog
Heurist provides a blog function with many interesting additional features. The strength of Heurist's blog function is that it stores its blog entries as standard Heurist records. They therefore inherit all the capabilities of standard Heurist records; they can be searched for, tagged, annotated, linked and even mapped like any other Heurist record. In fact, any Heurist record type can be displayed in a Heurist blog, although the default type is Blog entry.
My Blog
The My Blog link searches for all Blog entries bookmarked by the user, and filters them for the last month, displaying the most recent at the top.
Your blog includes entries you've added, but can also include other people's blog entries that you've bookmarked. This allows you to easily include content from other people's blogs without copying (other people's blog entries are flagged with their author). You can also display otehr record types in blog format from the pulldown on the right, as well as navigating to archicves for previous months and all entries with a selected tag.
