Record Ownership

Permissions relate to a user's ability to view and/or edit a Heurist record.

All Heurist records are publicly owned and publicly visible by default.  When adding a Heurist record a user has the option to restrict access to the record to members of a Workgroup. Workgroups are ddefiend by system adminstrators.

A Heurist user can edit records that are publicly available and/or available only within a workgroup of which they are a member.

Once a record has been restricted to a workgroup, only members of that workgroup can change the permissions (visible or non-visible, owned or public).
